For the last few years Dominique, the elder of Raymond and Suzanne
Chandou's children, has managed the estate. His experience, his
attention to details, and good business savvy, have maintained the
high quality of the wine from this stellar vineyard.
The winemaking is traditional with destemming and temperature
control fermentation. The wine is medium body, good structure and
purity of fruit, attractive balance and ripe tannins with an earthy
St Emilion-like character and a redberry finish from the Cabernet
Sauvignon.
